My name is Patrick Morales and I have had the honor of serving on the Tempe Elementary School Governing Board for the last five years, while serving as the board president in 2019. I was lucky to be raised by educators and I know the importance of public education.
Throughout my time on the school board, I have advocated for equity in our education system. I know the importance of equity plays to create a thriving community and state. I am running to continue my commitment and fight for an Arizona we all deserve. I am asking you to elect me to the Arizona House of Representatives in LD 26. We must continue the path of progress.
The progress we have made
Over the past five years on the Tempe Elementary School Board, we have solidified several policies to uplift our community and fully support our students, educators and parents. I have committed my professional career to improving education, and equity.
Now we take the fight to the Arizona capitol.
Beyond the success of the Tempe Elementary School Board, I have worked in community advocacy for nearly a decade. This work has included advocating for pre-12 policy and higher education statewide initiatives, healthcare for all, $15 minimum wage, protecting the environment, and comprehensive and humane immigration reform.
I served on the Arizona School Board Association’s board of directors as the President of the Hispanic and Native Caucus and currently serve on the Arizona State Democratic Party as the Co-Chair of the Progressive Caucus.
With your vote, I will continue my commitment to equity for all.
